Privacy Policy
Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE] · [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]
HomeWealis a private household bill tracker. This policy explains what we collect, how it's used and stored, and the control you have. We sell nothing and we do not connect to your bank.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password.
- The data you enter — bills, payments, vendors, budgets, goals, income and household members you choose to record.
- Billing metadata — your subscription plan and status, and a PayPal subscription identifier. We never see or store your card or bank details — PayPal handles payment data.
- Operational logs — basic request/error logs from our hosting provider, used to keep the service running and secure.
We do not connect to bank accounts and store no financial-institution credentials. There is no advertising tracking.
Per-household isolation
Your data belongs to your household and is isolated at the database layer — one household's data cannot appear in another household's queries.
Service providers we use
- Hosting — Vercel (application hosting and logs).
- Database — Turso/libSQL, encrypted at rest.
- Payments — PayPal (subscriptions and refunds).
- Email — Resend (account, verification and notification emails you've enabled).
These processors receive only what they need to perform their function.
Cookies
We use a single first-party, http-only session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Your rights — export & deletion
You can export all of your data to CSV at any time, free, from inside the app. You can request deletion of your account and its data by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL]; we remove your household's records (records we are legally required to retain, such as payment history for tax/accounting, are kept only as long as required).
Changes & contact
We'll update the effective date above when this policy changes. Questions or requests: [CONTACT EMAIL].
